was wondering how the 1754 extreme does for you guys? Pros cons? how fast? durability? id like to hear it all

I have a 1860 extreme with a stock 35 GTR (gutted ex., K&N filter) and side console, yes, side! It has a pointed bow, rod box, and livewell. While I have only owned it for a short time, the thing is a tank, but is a bit heavy. Growing up running outboards and jons with ice runners took me a while getting used to the steering. With the stepped chine you really have to lean into it, so hopefully your passengers are paying attention. I wish I had spud pole holes for a winch plate and hydroturf. The paint gets pretty darn warm and whatever they put in the paint for traction has begun to "rust". I purchased a beavertail 2200 blind (got it cheap) and it looks like ill have to mod it a bit to get it to fit. We have lots of sand and hard bottom; I noticed it likes the top pin hole for my conditions. I can get ~29 out of her by myself (190) and a full tank of gas.

I did a review a long time ago on my boat but I know have efi. If you search you should be able to find it. I am very rough on my boat but doesn't show.

owned a lot of different boats,Have rode in just about all makes and I can say my 17/54 Extreme will out perform them all.Stock engine would run 30/31 with just me.Now that motor has been modded I run 34/36 pretty easy.good luck with your boat dude
