Coming out good so far, should have it done by tomorrow. It was a tall transom which my longtail didn't like so much. I had the cavitation plate bent as much as possible just to keep it in the water. Instead of cutting the transom down I went ahead and tried to do it the right way with the motor bracket lowered to 15" on the new hunt deck. Will update with performance reviews after this weekend. |

It has 1x3 aluminum brackets all tied into the frame built in the inside |

Must just be the angle of the picture but it looks like all thats supporting it are those gussets. |

Is your cav plate really trying to surface so bad that you had 2 bend it up this steep? |

Who did your hunt deck? Jesus you bent the Chit out of that thing. It never did that when I had it on my boat.... Are you sure the boat you bought was a short transom or is it a tall? That motor was for a short. |

Looks good. Should help getting on plane winch it adds to the total bottom square footage. Not to mention if done air tight extra floatation. Keep us posted on results |

Man, I really wanted to add a hunt deck to that thing. I bet it runs even better than it looks now! Hope you have enjoyed it like I did. Im still waiting on my new hull. |
