 1448 tunnel hull review
Just finished this one up last weekend and was able to test run before delivering to the customer. Its a 1448 1/8" flat boat, 4" cat walk gunwale, 4'6" front deck and live well with flotation foam in the bow and rear bench, and a 36" long tunnel. Ran the boat with a 25 Yamaha short shaft tiller. Took a little playing with the mounting height on the motor, but once I got that dialed in the boat ran great. Ran 30.2 mph on the gps, did not cavitate at all, and while up on step ran over a true 5" sand flat. All and all I was very pleased. I've got one more outboard build lined up, and will then be starting on a 1854 with a hunt deck after that. Will post pics as I get them knocked out.1448 tunnel 03.jpg
