36HP PD stock motor with electric trim and electric reverse 1860 Phowler extreme with a few add-ons My speeds have been with a big load. 3 batteries, 2 230lb people, cooler full of frosties, deck mount 55lb minn kota, tackle boxes. This will be about the same weight as my hunting load. I am very happy with the boat and speeds. The boys at Phowler did an excellent job and have a customer for life. This boat is bigger than I was expecting going from a 1754 beavertail with gun boxes on both sides to an open floor plan. 24.2 mph shallow calm water 22.3 mph deep calm water 21.6 shallow with rock guard 20.3 deep with rock guard All speeds listed are not peak speeds but consistent speeds of a minute or more. Overall I am extremely happy with the quality of the boat and motor. I am new to the surface drive and still learning. I only have one chitty picture but will post more soon. |

Congrats! Buddy of mine has a 1748 Phowler with a 35MB on it and it has been beat to death for the last 5 years and the boat is still solid. My previous boat was a 1756 G3 and I can attest to the fact that a 1860 may not sound much bigger but it's a hoss! |
