From the picture, I can tell he's had the transom built up to be a tall transom. It probably does a decent job of floating that motor.

Yes guys at gator tail built up my transom 3 inches
all the way across , so I could go with a tall transom
motor , handles great , sits in water great, that extra
3 inches made big difference !!

I have a 1548 G3 I'm thinking about a 25 but really want a 35 GTR so I can upgrade to a custom boat next year. Do y'all think my rig will hold the extra weight of the 35 sitting even wise. I usually have 50 qt k2 full of beer and a passenger with me so weight can be moved around easily towards the front

Will you post some more pics of the way your transom is built up. I think I need to do this to mine to get a 25 gtr.
