What do y'all think about a gator tail 25 with reverse on a Lowe 1448 boat .. The motor weighs around 230 lbs ... It's a low transome boat rated for a 30 hp motor it's a solid boat.. But want y'all's opinion on a gtr25 mud motor. I always have 200lbs up front

Patience is a virtue, no need to post 4 times, even in the wrong forum... people will see it.

I think if you can keep it from porpoising it will fly. But good luck doing that. :D

It will probably porpoise. The width may help, along with moving up gas tank, battery, etc.

Ain't but one way to find out. I got two 14x48 aluminum boats both with 40 ob, Both run like your ex wife w ur paycheck. And find a good welder who doesn't mind welding that thin chit, it's not if it's gonna crack, it's when.
