Hey new to the forums but figured I would put in my thoughts on my new rig. The boat: 2013 Gator series 17/46 Swamp lights(the 175$ ones)Standard deck, Bolt in Gunbox, K2 Cooler seat, Dropdeck.20'' sides The motor: 2013 35hp Vanguard w/ Reverse, tachometer,Floating handle, Hand controls, etc.

Now, The boat handles great to be a flat bottom but in the turns you gotta work it a little. Can honestly say GTR has put together a fine rig. The motor is very torquey and if you havent driven a mudboat before you will catch yourself swerving side to side to plane out. I personally dont have a problem but friends. eehhh not so much. It goes anywhere with exception to thick thick grass in reverse, you have to pull forward to clean off the frame n prop. not really a big deal. The dropdeck is night and day in comparison to other GTR's without it. I didnt think it would be that big of a help but boy let me tell you it is. The 17/46 w/ the 35 in my opinion is GTR's best performing combo.

Not a common choice but I like it. Be sure to post some speeds in various conditions. Congrats on a fine rig! :wink:
