Well, I know there's a couple of reviews on these. But figured I would give input to everyone on what I have learned so far. Boat has a completely open floor plan. Just the necessities that Gatortail adds such as as the 4' front deck and I opted for the hunt deck as well. Me and a buddy I ran 24 bumping 25 in deep water. Was a little bumpy and going into the wind. Me by myself I ran 26 constantly in deep water. I never got it shallow when I had the GPS on, but did seem to notice a little bit of an increase when I got in about 2' of water. Straight from the factory the RPM's are about 3720 WOT. I've read that it is a pain in the ass to adjust the governor and get the idle to both cooperate and that it's not really worth the trouble for a couple hundred RPM's. SO I am leaving the governor the way it is. There has also been problems with the motor dying when first kicking it in gear and trying to feather the throttle a little to keep it from dying, adjusting the idle a little higher solved this problem for the most part. I also noticed it helped a little after the first oil change at around 20 hours and the first shaft grease change at around 15 hours. I've got a little over 25 hours and still like it. I just installed a 20" LED light bar on the front. Haven't gotten to test it out yet, but this where I got it from. Gatortail already had the wires ran up front so all I did was mount a cigarette lighter plug to the front of the boat, now I have the option to plug any 12 volt DC adapter to the front. I plan on putting some hydro turf down sometime soon, but may have to wait till after duck season. image (2).jpeg image (1).jpeg image (3).jpeg |

Just got nearly the same setup this summer and love it. I had the hydroturf installed at GT. It's a good running little boat. I'm getting around the same speeds with mine. |

Its funny how a foot or 2 longer will give you an additional 2 mph..... it is important to get these boats as flat as possible when on plane...... try and add a little more weight up front and see if that dosent put you in the 27-28 in deeper water.....mine is running a pretty constant 27 in deeper water and 28-29 in shallow water. |

Yeah we hunt there quite a bit, especially early on in the season. We have a couple new spots we are going to scout out there, along with some other lakes we want to check out. Your skiff is going to put up some nice numbers with that 35 on it. I'd like to see it on the water when you get it. |

Got it late June, so working on 2 months. Don't plan on getting rid of it anytime within the next few years unless I get in bad bind. |

Nice boat and seems pretty average as to what everyone else's speeds are especially since leaving governor set low .. I'm hopin to hit the same once I get my boat but I plan to bump the RPM's up to 4000 to maybe help a little Sent from... who cares.. |

Yeah, I am not that worried about it. All that trouble I have heard about for another MPH or two. Ehh, I am never in that much of hurry to get anywhere. |

Im getting the about the same speeds. RPMs 3650. I have a little more weight in mine with trolling motor setup. Today the best speeds I got was 22.9 with wife and I with a lot of fishing gear, 2 icechest, 9 gal of fuel. What is your idle set at? Mine likes to die and I have to feather it. My idle is set at 900 in forward. |

Wife and I cruising 25-25.5. Fishing load with 2 ice chest 23-24. 3 people 21. All were in 2-3 foot of water. It gets the job done. Yea another 5 mph would be nice, but I had a budget. It was either a few more hunting accessories or the 35. |

Were the 3 person load speeds above with the boat stripped, or with fish/hunt load? |
