The trailer is great love the four bunks. The reverse is awesome ran it through some veggies that stopped it dead in its tracks. I was like all shit what do I do now. Put it in reverse and it started to pull out. If I was in my buddy's boat we would still be stuck. The tiller torque keeps getting better as I keep adjusting the tab. Ran through floating dead decaying vegetation that was about 4' deep it looked like solid mud. It slowed down but kept going. The boat is a beast and fun to drive. Does slid a little but not to bad. I can't take it anywhere without somebody coming up to me asking about it or the motor. I had to send my deposit to a man that I never meet before 840 miles away, Jason was great to deal and everything went smooth.

Looks good. Interesting look on the cap rail. Does it taper toward the front? I like the side racks too. Did you get the seats like Bigrich? I gotta buy some and man are they ever expensive!

Good looking rig. I wish I would of seen your rod holder ideal before he finished mine or I would of stolen it ( going toadd them later). Uncle j builds a great boat got two of his and couldn't be more pleased. I will have a review of my new one up soon just waiting on this weather to break so I can get a finale run with everything mounted.

After closer look at the pic you posted I see you are talking about the rod holder being removable. I was talking about adding the straps from the top of the cat walks to the floor

Yeah the straps are 1/4 '' x 2'' flat bar. The rod racks mount to them.

gfowel, tell me more about this battery. Bigrich had some small batteries similar to this. Where did you get 'em? Are they a typical lawnmower battery?

No they are a marine battery. They have a good bit of different ones to offer. I believe they are a gel cell battery. The technical poling skiff crowd such as hells bay and Maverick have been using them for years. I ordered mine from a place called west coast battery. They had free shipping and I bought two at different times and they were great to deal with.

I'll check 'em out. The one thing I miss is a back up pull start for emergencies. Having a light spare battery would be nice. And if they work that good it would be nice to use them for everything!

Goodness they've got more batteries than a dog has flees

Why did you get that battery and not the one with the metal jacket or high temp or all the others?
