Conditions Tested In: Pure boat hell

Comments: Really like the boat so far. I told Brandon what I had in mind and he got it done, kept me updated with plenty of pics and I swung by the shop to be there if he had any question on what I wanted. It ran really well today on the lake and I hit more than my share of stumps lookin for the ghost teal we must have and I think its gunna hold up, pretty solid boat. The slick bottom is a life saver in the stumps and grass.

Good deal, nothing wrong with a longtail ive hunted with them for years and have found they shine in a lot of places a SD wouldn't. A modded 35 LT on that boat like Bcoonass used to have would be insane!

Have you painted it Yet?

No, I just got the paint yesterday and now I'm waiting on the right day to paint it.
It's just going to be a plain Jane drab green with gator glide on the bottom

I've seen a few boats on here now with the braces exposed how do you like it that way and do you plan on putting in a floor in the future?

I don't really mind it, its alot easier to clean but it is hard on bare feet.

I have a couple of small sheets of plywood I throw down sometimes, and I have one to stand and drive on.

Gets a little tricky with alcohol and tough on the back when things get bad and you have to sleep in your boat

Thanks, really happy with it.
The boat is pretty damn solid, I haven't put a ton of hours on it yet but Ive ran it about 20 hours and every second of it it has been cut no slack. Not even a good ripple in the bottom. That narrow front and pointed bow is bad ass! I am gunna play bumper boats in the timber all season, no more smackin trees and coming to a stop.

And I am now a firm believer in Gatorglide, that stuff is slicker than owl shit!

Me and my cousin, I dunno what brand stencil that is.

I like it, Its a good mix of dark and light. We have camo'ed all kinds of shit and just change it up and learn a lil at the time. We pretty much painted the whole thing in just a few hours.

Ran it since you put the gg on it? Any speed gain or any difference in running?

Goin down to Turkey Creek/Boeuf tomorrow after work an gunna run it.

I don't really expect any speed changes but its gotta be easier to slide around on mud and thick grass. I'm sure it'll get dry docked at least once
