Broke my plastic throttle with 2 hours on motor luckily found an old clutch lever so I was back running that day. I like the lever better anyway. Had to dremel it out and as you can see go buy longer bolts

Got the lever and clamp from cycle gear a couple years ago as a backup for my dirt bike. I like it a lot. Don't think it's allowing me to get WOT tho. Out of water I can only get 4330 I was told when I bought my motor 4700.. When I adjust the screw on the slide back on the motor it just cranks my idle so..

And bigrich complements on your new boat my favorite so far. I was stuck on a sportsman fab, but thanks for advertising duckhunterf250 I been talking to him, looking to start my build early 2014 when I save up some more fidel cashflow!

All motors are the high rev models now. 4750 coils and shimmed springs from Vanguard.

I guess I got the newer one. Mike Broussard told me 4700 when he was giving me the run down on my motor, nice guy btw. I don't get the new air intake hole on the air cleaner cover. Looks like a scoop for water to me

Pintail did you reach your post limit on your other username forcing you to get a new one? :D
Bigrich in that one pic is that a 65qt cooler as your seat? How does that balance good full of beer and you on top of it? I'd like to use my 65qt as a seat but seems like that would put too much weight on the right side stern of boat??
