i have a 14 foot welded boat with 23hp go devil surface drive with me at 160 pounds an my friend that weighs 115 pounds an 2 gallons of feul its only running between 16 to 18mph an its turning 3600 to 3700 rpm |

What brand boat? Mod-v, flat bottom? How high is your transom? I'm new to this stuff, but you should be getting better speeds. Sounds like your transom is too short for your motor. If that is not the case, you need to play with your trim. I know I have to adjust mine acording to the load in the boat. |

its a flat bottom an i believe its a alweld an i started lookig an i think i have a head leak so that probley the problem |
