Cottonmouth 648 XLR8 w/35 GTR

We hung this motor just to check the recessed transom with the reverse plate for function. I'm building two now for gtr's one 17' and one 18'6". I was worried we would get negative performance due to length but did extremely well. Specs Hull- 16' overall 48" bottom 18" sides 65" beam 4' front deck 18" huntdeck/ recessed transom Motor- bone stock gtr w/ 0 hours Speeds- Just me 230 lbs. 4 gallons gas, battery and safety gear 31-32 consistent 4150-4200 rpm's 4 of us 230-250 each 26 consistent 3900-4000 rpm's _________________ Corey Crochet Cottonmouth Custom Boats, LLC 225-456-0930

Like I said it was just put on there to make sure I didn't have to make adjustments to the recess. Honestly the reason it did so well is the crimps on the xlr8 make the hull lift.
