I had this boat built for a longtail a few years back and then put a 40 Mercury on it. I took a ride with LA OUTLAW on my lease about 6 months ago and while experiencing this ride on wet ground/marsh/land/trees,etc I knew what I had to do. I sold the Mercury and had Casey St.Romain of Sportsman Fabrication in Morgan City, LA extend my deck, put in aluminum flooring, a battery tray and I guess you would call it a standing/holding post with drink holder. I then got a GREAT deal from ProDrive in Loreauville, LA from Peck on a 36 hp demo and CoonDik installed a BPS Crossover exhaust. Here are a few pictures of my "Little Cute Boat" as UNCLE J calls it. http://s568.photobucket.com/albums/ss129/traviscrouch/ |

Homeboy had a thousand yard stare with a smile on his face like a kid in a candy store.. He was completely sold on a prodrive when we got back to the camp. |

Thanks for your concern deltaduckmaterbater but I think I will be alright with the PD. I looked at both motors and the PD best fits my needs. By chance if that GT does pass me up I will wave and take another sip of my cold beverage and hell knowing me probably scratch my sack while thinking of you. |

Aw poor baby, Did this kid hurt your little feelings deltaduckmasterbater? I'm sorry, I'm only a kid. Please don't tell my mommy, she will spank me and I will be punished and won't be able to watch Disney. Yeah whatever candy-a$$. I was just posting about my boat and you want to jump in with your crap about GT is better. I don't care about all that crap. Both Gt and PD are good motors, so wipe your tears and BTFO! What, no Mom just 5 more minutes, please let me stay up longer. |

Don't get so mad, I thought this was all in good fun? If I could shove them there I know I could use my reverse to get out. |

Actually deltaduckmaster I don't think it's running that good at all. I was hoping for about 25 or 26 steadily but it's not. I'm only averaging around 22 to 23. This is with my two sons and myelf with 6 gallons of fuel and an icechest with drinks. I weigh a slim 285 and my youngest is 110 and my oldest is 165. This is in deep water. UNCLE J measured my wheel and says it's thin and only 12 inches in diameter. Can't figure it out. I tried moving weight all over the boat trying things and still no change. I might try his wheel and see what happens. |

Love the crossover exhaust, sounds wicked!! To bad the speed don't match the sound. lol Never ran it alone. I'm told a few people are going to run in the basin tomorrow. I'm going to show up and see if some of these guy's can run my boat and give me some insight. I'm clueless!! I'm a virgin at running surface drive motors, so any advise is greatly needed. |
