Bought this boat 5 years ago from a local builder here in Bainbridge, Ga. www.airboatsunlimited.com T-6061 aluminum throughout. Have always wondered what the true width of this boat should read. Its in layers. The very bottom is 44. The next width where the angle iron is welded on is 47. The final width is 56. Speeds out the door with me(210) and buddy(240) in deep water, were 19.6. I've added a k&n air filter, carb spacer and bps muffler to it. Also have a removeable flounder gigging railing added this year and a poling platform. Just applied a new coat of steelflex. Before the steelflex I was running 20.6 in deep water alone with the platform and railing. Here is what the boat looks like today. |

The chine on that boat looks like the GT extreme hulls |

Dixon makes a fine boat, first I have seen out of aluminum. |
