Re: New top speed I've got Hoyt's mods and the motor has way more bottom end than it had stock.Plenty of power for hauling loads and lots of it when you need it.I'm not going close to 40 and never plan to.
When ever I get another motor I'm going to have the same work done to it.The additional speed I picked up was a bonus its the extra azz he put in the motor that makes it worth the extra money.Run a modded motor set up right and you will see a differance. |

Re: New top speed What I got from Hoyt was head work,push rods,performance cam,exhaust,and factory carb adjusted.I think thats all.I'm sure it will be corrected if there is anything I missed.

To answer you fellers querston 'bout how long the engine will hold up ...... Thats why the Gator-Tail crew is puttin' the factory test to her I would imagine. I let Hoyt put the head work, cam, and tweekin' of the factory carb on mines last year and am completely satisfied with the way it runs. I'm not a whole lot faster .... but I can carry everythang I want loaded in the hull with a top out 'bout 33mph and I ain't gots no problem with leaky oil or crankin' with ease !!!!! Would like to know what it takes to make the 44.1 mph tho !!!!! _________________ Git a Gator-Tail or ride in mines wake ...... MtrFact !!!!! '05 Model .... Still Number One on the Water !!!! |
