Anyone had a borel boat built lately. looking at getting a custom built boat and i live right here near Orange, TX but i have never seen a mud boat they have built. Always heard good things about there boats though.

I've seen one "mud boat" that they built and believe it or not it didn't really hold up or perform very well. They build some nice boats for outboards and may have possibly gotten their game together since the one I saw since it was a couple years ago, but I'd probably look elsewhere to be honest. Their outboard boats are generally fast and built real nice, a mud motor is hell on a transom and bottom though... Keep that in mind.

Take'em and 2ducks both had borel boats, but they sold them. Don't see them on here much anymore to give reviews

Have a friend trying to sell a 1648 flat with an outboard. 3/16 I think. It's put together pretty well.

Any shops around this area besides borel worth getting a good custom boat built? Maybe some shops in Louisiana y'all could refer me to?

Jay Dore builds Instagator everything I have heard/read is good and he is in PA. There are other's as well, Pete Willet is supposed to build a good boat out of Tyler, Stump Jumper out of Center, etc

Duckhunterf250 on here. RJ builds a good boat. Deadfowl customs I think is the brand

Pete willet or WCcustomboats.com will build whatever you want. Does good work. He's building my boat right know.

WC Custom and Deadfowl Customs look like really well built boats, i will have to look into contacting them. Anyone have any reviews on Shallow Water Customs? I talked with them over the week and it seemed like a fairly good deal.
