Phowler Extreme 2060, this boat is huge but carries a load great. With two adults, three kids, dog, 12 gallons of gas, Bimini top, misc tools, life jackets, etc (close to 950 lbs) I get 22.5 going upstream in the main channel is the Mississippi River and 23.5 downstream. I got 24.5 in the shallows with the same load. With just myself and misc stuff equaling 300 lbs total I got 26.5 going downstream in shallows and 24.5 upstream in deep water.
Motor is stock except mild head work, BPS Q,and a K&N air filter. Heads are port and polished and decked .030. My prop is a stock 2 blade that is worn pretty good. With a new prop I could probably get another mph or two.
Boat handled great in all aspects. I haven't had it out in any mud or veggies yet.
I'm looking forward to seeing what it can carry with the Light Marsh Blind on during hunting.
Paul and the crew at Phowler were great to work with and I have no complaints. It took a little longer than expected to get it completed but hopefully it'll be worth it come hunting season.
The great thing about Phowler is that they always answered every email in a timely manner with exactly the info I requested. I couldn't get other manufacturers to even answer a simple email request for a quote. Paul knew what would fit me best and what I should expect for speeds with my motor. Overall, I'm very happy with the whole experience.

Put the blind on today and took her out. In deep water on the Mississippi River I still got impressive speeds with a load in it. With the exact same load and the blind all grassed up in deep water I got 19-21 depending on current and wind. In shallow water, I got 22-24. Boat gets up on plane easily. All you guys that think a 2060 is too much boat for a single motor haven't ridden in one! I'll never have a small boat again.

I like that blind. Wish I hunted where I could justify having one like that. Better get some more cover on that thing!!!

I wouldn't hesitate to put my motor on 2 more ft of boat. Natural cover from wherever you set up is always preferable. Damn nice rig.
