Has anybody ever used a Gheenoe with a longtail . Did you notice any problems , was it hard to handle . Have a chance to grab a 13 footer hi-sider . Have a 6.5 mud motor . Should I hold out for a 15.4 footer with that set up . Thanks |

I'm not sure on the different models of gheenoe but there's a guy in my parts that runs what looks to be a little longer than 15 foot and he has a swomp 23 on it and that is one bad ass rig.. has a poling platform and elevated front casting deck with a little console/grab bar in the middle. It's also faster than most any other longtail rig I've seen |

Thanks . Has to be the 15.4 he has . They come in 13 & 15.4 . Also their is a Hi-Sider , and Lo-Sider . From what I've been told , you don't want the Lo-sider . Did it look like it was pretty easy to handle btmannin |

Yea as far as I could tell it seemed real easy to drive. He had a dog and a girl in the boat with him and it was scootin along on step and looked to be dry ride. I'm sure I'll run into him again in the next week or so. If i do I'll flag him down and ask him some questions about it and snap some pics for you. |

I have a 15'4" Hi Sider with a GDLT 6.5 hp. Runs well and easy to handle. FYI there are several larger Gheenoe sizes bigger than the 15'4". Check the websites for Gheenoe and for Custom Gheenoe. |
