Will load test in the next week & give a review. I've had numerous duck boats and am impressed with the finish and detail of Prodigy boats.

Ok, last weekend was an interesting day to load test my boat. The conditions were as follows:

-cloudy with light rain
-15 knot wind, NE
-2 ft waves on lake

-I ran boat with 5 dozen decoys with texas rigs & bags
-2 dozen geese decoys, weighted
-2 full size labs (80-85lbs)
-2 men (200lbs each)
-beavertail boat blind
-miscellaneous gear, ropes, hand held winch, tools, etc

The boat ran from 23.1 to 24.3 into the wind with load, water spray over bow was challenging. On return trip with wth wind, the boat ran 24.1 to 25 consitently. I used a hand held Garmin GPS. I did not get a chance to run in soupy/skinny water for an extended period of time.

The weekend before I ran with little to no load, 2 dogs & 2 men and had similar speeds. The weather was not quite as windy and was surprised that the speeds with a light load versus a heavy load was similar. Due to break in proceedures recommended by Mudbuddy, I varied the speeds not opening it up all the way for long periods of time.

Going to check the Valve clearance as recommended after 3-10 hours, will let you know.
