MM Brand: Mud Buddy HDR
Horsepower: 37EFI
Boat Brand: Prodigy
Boat Size: 1854
Boat Layout: ext front deck, open floor, huntdeck... Min gear

Speeds | Shallow Water: N/A
Speeds | Deep Water: 25 (motor not broke in yet)
Total Boat Load With Gear Etc: 2 guys, chessie, About 550 lbs
Conditions Tested In: calm deep water

Comments: so far I'm loving it... Quiet, smooth, comfortable. Great response on the throttle, snaps up on plane, turns on rails. Lots of low end power. Rev is about what I expected, good to get off the trailer, maneuver around, decoys, etc. I can't see it being much help under adverse conditions. Need more time on the rig to fully say but initial review is I love it. The boat is a tank. Can't complain about the boat at all. You can tell Chad and the crew work hard at what they do.

I will soon... I bought a plain hull and I'm doing all the custom/set up work myself. So far I've laid hydro turf, gator glide, put on a beavertail blind, installed push pole and fire extinguisher holders. Still have to do the lighting and paint job.

Did you add the gator glide with the motor still attached? If so how'd it go and was it difficult?

No I removed the motor and flipped the boat. It was a bit of an ordeal, still is since the boat is upside down in my back yard still. The GG process was super easy though

Put 2 adults, 3 kids, 2 coolers full, full tank of gas, and fishing gear.... No GPS but it got up on plane with no issues, ran the shallows and the deep water. I'm going to guess just shy of 1000 lbs In the boat. Not even close to maxing it out!! I feel confident we were going around 20 mph or so. Not going to win a land speed record but I was plenty happy with the performance
