MM Brand:Gatortail
Horsepower:37 EFI
Boat Brand: Gatortail Extreme
Boat Size:1854
Boat Layout:Center console, 6" catwalks, under deck front storage, enclosed rear deck/storage, hunt deck, bowfishing rail. Boat has minn kota, on board charger, bowfishing rail, lowrance elite 5, wetsounds stealth 10, 28" led removable bar, catwalk leds, hydroturf.
Trailer: Mclain Aluminum

Speeds | Shallow Water, light: Have not seen much shallow water but I would say 30
Speeds | Deep Water, light:solid 28-30
Speeds | Shallow Water,heavy:
Speeds | Deep Water, heavy: 23-25, Im sure if i would have rode the shoreline I could have got a mph or two better
Total Boat Load With Gear Etc:Heavy, 3 men, 2 coolers 4 batteries, bowfishing gear, 6 gal tank, Light 1-2 people, 2 batteries and cooler
Conditions Tested In: Creek avg depth 8-12', little to no water movement(tidal). minimal wind if any.

Comments: I upgraded from a 25gtr on a 1646 which was my first mud motor. After Caddo I got the green light from momma to get a more family friendly rig. I wanted something I could comfortably go to rides with the family in and also one I could do more easily fish/hunt/bowfish from.

Dealt directly through Gatortail with the purchase. I got it in a very timely manner and withing a week of the estimated time he told me.

I am extremely happy with the layout of the boat, the features ,and how damn easy it is to run a console. I was apprehensive about going with the new 37efi but i have almost 30 hrs and have been very impressed. Starts right up, idles smooth, and has much more power than I thought it would.

I've been thinking of ditching my barge for an 1854 console. Pretty much the same as yours without the catwalks or the bowfishing setup. Good looking rig!

Umm.... I've been temporarily stationary for a bit. I'll say the spots I was stuck, any surface drive would be stuck or at least hung up good. When it gets on hard/dry land it becomes a heavy bitch. Tiller you could move the transom some to get a bite. But what I lost I gained with electric reverse, It's straight nasty.

Ran it tonight. It's not propped right and there was some nasty wind with the weather coming in, but it rolled. The motor is nasty... Voodoo sounds amazing on it! Ill give a more thorough review once I have some hours on it. But Calen and Jamie are some jam up dudes.... and they also know how to make these motors run.

Also big thanks to Jay Dore(instagator911) and Nick Willey(ruberduck). They happened to be in the area and drug my boat home. Stand up dudes!

I am interested to see what this thing does. I have a 1754 w/ a tiller. Want to buy a 37 and convert to a console.

Who are y'all using for your props? I take it your bringing to have work done with stock prop, and then play the prop game once its done?
