There's a guy on here who has one, I think he got it pretty recently too. I'm pretty sure its Ricerunner.

I've got a Lowco not the backwater but it's not much difference in boat in pretty sure they just call the smaller boats (less than 15') backwater and the bigger the Lowco's

How do you like it? I'm torn on what I want. I run a riveted boat now and it's fine for what I do but a welded hull would last forever. Currently have a 25hp longtail but may upgrade to a bigger SD down the road so I want something that could work for both

So far I like it it's been a good boat ive beat and banged off trees up and over stumps it's built well. It's tough I promise it does slide if you try and hang it out in a turn lol but it's a square chine so it's gonna happen carries a load very well I will recommend that you get a bigger boat than a 14-15 I don't know about the LT motors pushing speeds but If your considering a SD down the road you'll need the bigger boat.

I'm in Maryland. The surface drive is just a maybe at this point, and I kind of need the smaller boat for my areas I wanna go. I was looking at the low country 1542/1544 or a G3 1544. I don't beat on them too bad and it's all mostly soft mud, so in not sure if it's worth it to step up to a welded hull like these or stick with the lighter boat. Currently use a 1436 and it works but only in dead flat water. The sides are lower like 16 inch. The lowco is 18 and the G3 is 21

Running any mud you'll do better with a true flat bottom it slides better other than that the G3 isn't a bad boat IMO
