I just recently purchased a gator tail on a 16x54 gator tail hull. Stripped the boat and motor down for repaint and repainted the motor with a gloss black (because black gator tails matter too) and the boat dead grass green with some camo work done a the bottom with a cattail stencil. Loving the boat and how it is performing, it was a big step up from a 23 hp go devil long tail on a 14x36 Jon boat lol. The motor is stage 1 with .20 decking on the heads and stainless such and etc. with a 280 ish cam and bigger jets in the stock carb. All I need left to do is get a new light bar, clean up the wiring job, put hydroturf and she'll be almost good as new and ready to roll. Speeds shallow: 30.7-31.2, 2 people, ice chest, battery, 12 gallon fuel tank Speeds deep water: 28.9-29.6 same load as above Really satisfied with the performance of the motor for just stage 1, thinking about adding a minuki carb in the near future just for great throttle response... And to brag and gloat my motor is stage 2 to my friends mad they are still stock. Prop starting to get worn down also so looking to maybe getting into the custom prop game also. |

No clue Kirt on the jets that they rejetted with, I just know that the carb puts out decent and seems very balanced in a way |
