I'm looking to trade my 40 merc 4 stroke for a sd. A fella has a 36 pd with 115hours and manual reverse he's wanting to swap. Good deal or no? I know nothing about a sd other than I want one |

i think its a good trade but check out the prodrive if u get numbers on prodrive and call them they will tell u if they ever did any waranty work on the motor the prodrive people are really cool |

All depends on condition the prodrive is in. is it rusted to shit? What boat are you putting it on? Don't expect the prodrive to perform like the outboard does with speed and load carrying. Cause you will be disappointed. Post a picture of the motor! That'll give a better idea |
