Just got my boat back from getting motor work done I got carb heads cam exhaust pretty much everything and ran it for the first time today on my 18x54. I only ran in deep water didn't have shallow today with me and my girlfriend we ran 30 consistent that is with a 14 gallon tank up front and normal boat gear. I'm sure it could go faster with a worked prop and some shallow water. But I can defiantly tell a difference in power it has a lot of bottom end I lacked a lot of that before. I don't know much about props where should I start to try and get a little better speeds thanks

If you were closer, was gonna let you run my prop to get a comparison. LAProp (Chris courville) is who did the work on mine. I'll dig up his phone number. Gave him rpms with a couple different loads, speed with those loads and rpms, and he nailed it on the head first try. Sent him an unused big blade, it came back to me exactly what I was looking for.
