Post Oversized motor on boat?
I have a 15 56 v hull boat with a 25hp mudbuddy mini. I get 23mph with just me. Runs good anywhere. The second I add one guy I drop to 15mph. What would be the major downfall of beefing up the transom and putting a 35hp mudbuddy on it? Would I gain the power to hold up my speed with another guy? The weight difference is only around 35lbs. And I was planning on relocating my fule tank to the nose of my boat. Just wondering what could go wrong if I upgraded my motor and kept my boat? Since I have my boat all set up how I like it with blind lights ect.

You’ll be fine with a big block motor
