Post Havoc DBST w/ GTR XD 37 EFI
Finally went to SC to pick up my new GTR and got to test it out this week. Was a little skeptical being my Havoc has ribs and wasn’t sure how it performs but I ahead and got the mud motor because our rivers stay so shallow. But so far I’m extremely pleased with the performance. By myself and 6 gallons of fuel I can run 29-30 mph in 4 inches of water. Pushed a hunting load of 4 people a dog and decoys and a blind mounted at 22-23 in about 10 inches of water. I’ve always heard things about Gator tails and they definitely lived up to the name.

How big is your havoc? Those are good speeds with a stock 37efi.

I have a Havoc 1650 MST with a gtr 37 and have been very impressed as well. I’ve had the boat a little over a year and am much happier with it than my previous rig which was an 1860 gatrotrax with a 35 gtr. What really impressed me was the load carrying abilities. The speeds you posted are spot on for what I’m getting as well.

My Havoc is a 1656 DBST. I was a little skeptical about having keels with a mud motor but it’s flawless for what i want to do with it. It did take quite a little ways to get to speed with a load but never the less it’s better than walking. I’m hoping to throw a voodoo exhaust on her soon and get a little more out of her.

And I’m also pushing a 3 blade prop that came standard

I also have the stock 3 blade and have been trying to decide which prop to go with next. I think I’m leaning towards the hammer just because of all the reviews on it.
