Probably not gonna find much love for war eagle on MMT. Are you the same guy who just ordered this rig on DHC and is looking for someone to say it is a good setup? Yes he posted in the Review section but cut a new guy some slack I didn’t see him re post anywhere. To answer his question. - Yes I have a 2017 PD on a 1648 War Eagle. It does what I need it to do. ( 90% fishing and 10% hunting) Runs 27-28 with 2 + fishing gear. Max speed is 30 by myself with light load |

Why cut him slack? People have actually reviewed their mod v setups before, so he didnt find those in a search. Also, this site isnt set up only for the genius internet guy, it's not hard to see the "reviews only" title. People want the easy button, but there have been many a discussion and argument about this exact question. It might require a little searching to find the good info that will help. He posted in the wrong place, if he cant handle being told that, then oh well. Posting in the wrong place makes this section a lot less useful to sort through. There is a LOT of information about nearly every question posted here if people would bother to take the time to find it, and some of the guys that posted good information aren't here anymore to repost it. The OP is missing alot by not going through the effort to find and read it. I've personally watched a guy give out bad information for a few weeks, then discovered he had never owned a surface drive (through a mutual acquaintance), and sold the longtail he had because it ran like crap. That's why searching the site is important to get good info. It's here, but the current active guy that responds to his question might not actually know wtf he's talking about. #CFFITR #TheGhostBoat #whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |

I’m currently looking at the same thing it’s a war eagle gladiator 1756 with a GTR 37EFI, I would love to hear some feed back about the boat or even the GTR itself, this will be my first MM purchase. |
