Comments:heads, cam, 35 stock carb, rapid prop worked by baggy, Q exhaust, motor work performed by Delta. Very pleased so far. Delta was excellent to work with. Calen and Jamie run a good business. This is my first mud boat. We used a phone app for speeds so it might not be completely accurate. I'll add to the post as I get more tiller time.

Going to run it again tomorrow. Need to get it on the water and calibrate the trolling motor. Most likely I'll be by myself so we'll see what kinda speeds I get deep and shallow.

Delta usually gives you a copy of the Dyno results. What horsepower is your BB25 now? Your speeds and load carrying numbers are impressive. I would love to see how it does with one more guy to see if the motor still carries the really big loads at 26-27. We're surrounded by 25 hp limits here and it would open up new hunting areas with your motor on a 1854 vs the 1748 max Gatortail used to recommend which is a little small for use on the bays we run.

They did not dyno it. Jamie said it should be around 41 horsepower and may pick up a couple more when it gets broke in. It may be a while before I have more weight in the boat. Usually only two of us this time of year.

Did a some more testing recently. I have the boat packed with fishing gear. Tackle boxes under the front deck, twelve rods in the rod box, odds and ends in the rear pods. 26-27 in deep water with two 200+ men. I ordered 6 gauge marine wire pulled it under the floor and mooved the two size 27 batteries and onboard charger to the back. Big mistake. 21 top speed. Didn't really know until I tried. Left the wire under the floor and moved the batteries and charger back to the front. Back to 26-27 today in a test run. Surface drives are so much different than outboards!

Did a solo run today. 4-6 feet of water. Phone app GPS...29-30 mph. Very impressed. Dropped down to 26-27 in very heavy veggies. 3900 RPM produced the best speeds.

That’s good stuff bro, keep it up. What prop are you running and what specs is it?

I believe it's a Merc prop. Three blade worked by baggy. 12 pitch. I bought it from Delta performance when I was there in April.

Yep that’s a good prop. If you can turn a 12 pitch merc, you definitely have some power coming out of that 25 bro

Switched over to the stock prop recently. Noticed that my three blade is an 11 pitch, not a 12 as I originally stated. Sorry about the confusion. Fished a two day bass tournament 8/10-8/11. GPSed the boat with the three blade. 26-27 in 3-4 feet of water with heavy vegetation, full live well(100 quart cooler), plenty of fishing gear, and two men 225ish each. Very happy with top end. Takes a little to get it on step. It's nice at tournament take off to run in a straight line. Everyone with outboards has to follow a deeper channel with little to no vegetation.
