Finally got the boat on the water for some speeds yesterday.

Conditions: Air temp: 85
Water Temp: 50s
Wind: NE @ 10-15 mph

Load:
1 man, (190), 2 turkey decoys, 1 turkey vest, boots, extra clothes, shotgun, and your normal boat stuff

Motor: GTR 40, tall transom, no mods, stock prop

Boat: 2048 Gatortrax (PD Edition), Rounded Chine, open configuration with side gun box and dry box.

Performance:
(Deep Water: 12+ depth)
With the wind: 31 mph
Into the wind: 28 mph

(Shallow Water)
Did not perform and readings in the shallows

Comments: WOW, I knew it was going to be good; but not this good. Totally impressed and pleased with my purchase. The tiller does pull hard to the starboard side; but I assume this was because my dry box and gun box are mounded starboard and majority of my load was on that side. Only seemed to be a problem heading into the wind. Also, hole shot seemed to be good as well.

Interested to see how it will perform on a full hunting load.
