Purchased the boat bone stock with about 80 hours on motor. Delivered to Nick and let him do stage 2 and ported the intake. Very pleased with results. Prior to taking to Nick it would do about 26. After motor build: Alone with no load bumping 35, consitant 33-34. That was actually with a pretty good chop and windy day. After I put some more tiller time I can update more speed results. I was impressed with it for sure. Forgot to mention it’s all 2014 yr models on boat and motor and the motor is a mud buddy 3500 special. I think just a little longer out drive and Thompson trim are the only differences between the normal 35 and the special. Now I’ve got to play with the prop I think. It’s a big blade with it pitched to a 12 from Chris C. It’s near the limiter so I might either go to 13 or try other props. I just don’t want to lose load carrying because I def overload often during season like most... It’ll do for now with season so close but springtime might do some tinkering.
