NEWBIE HELP!!!!!
I have decided to get a used over new mud motor so now I need some help. When looking at a used motor what do I need to look for? Are there any red flags that I will be able to spot easily? What kind of questions should I ask about the motor? I have some knowledge of motors in general but mud motors are a whole new game for me. Any help is appreciated thanks guys

Re: NEWBIE HELP!!!!!
A good tip given to me years ago was check the motor side of the exhaust. If the motor has been run hot a few times, it will be a good bit more rusted than the rest.
