Bending the Handle
I have a MB LT with a galvanized frame. Since its a TT motor on a ST boat the handle is a little too low for my liking. I called the local MB deal to see if he could bend it and he was worried that i would crack the galvanizing. Have any of yall done this? Any tips?

Re: Bending the Handle
I have a similair problem being 6 foot 7.. but I cant bend the handle on my GD becuase it has 2 supporting joints welded on the bends. so I just get use to driving it hunkered down a little. or if I am driving with passangers and dont have many turns, I pull out a bucket to sit on while I drive it. its about all I can do...

Re: Bending the Handle
The handle is not case hardened...
It will take a bend - but yes the galvanizing will crack a bit at the bend...
Nothing a little rustoleum paint won't fix...

Re: Bending the Handle
Rasing the transom will change the drive angle some.

Re: Bending the Handle
Harbday all it is is a rectangular piece of metal as wide as the transom and about 12 inches wide and 6 inches tall....the height extends over both sides of the transom to where i can bolt it down...kinda looks like a big trolling motor mount
