I just put a 13 hp vangaurd on my gdlt but the carburetor is pretty much shot. I figure if I'm going to buy a new carburetor I might as well look into aftermarket carbs, got any suggestions? Also what size prop are y'all running on a 13?

What do you mean the carb is ''shot''? You can buy carb kits pretty reasonable for those vanguards. I have one of these motors and it is very strong and reliable.

Oh, and I'm running an 8x6 Hill Marine prop on mine.
