ADJUST THE CAVITATION PLATE!!! gets old seein every problem being a simple cavitation plate adjustment. it's there for many reasons, not JUST cavitation... thats all...

Why is mine so slow?
I can't plain with 4 people and 8 dozen deeks.
The same boat with a 25 Suzuki would plane out...

You have to get up early enough in the morning, brush your teeth, or the cavitation plate won't work! I say get a pirogue and be done with it!

Re: post to end most LT problems
put your float foam on the outside of your boat for best flotation and overall performance, bend your cavitation plate upwards at a good angle to keep the prop from surfacing and speed is really all that matter when it comes to a longtail --sarcasm font--

I was told to put my lt infront of my boat. They said it would pull better up there.
