 Advice 23 or 27 Surface Drive I am ordering a new Engine Monday. I am running a 1540 boat. Everyone keeps bringing up the Electrics on the Kohler 27 but I have two batteries. Is there really a good reason I should go with the 23 Surface Drive instead of the 27 Kohler????

Re: Advice 23 or 27 Surface Drive You might get a bit more traffic if you asked for pros and cons of both in the Engines section. There is a thread just down from this one discussing basically the same thing, the general consensus was that they are both very capable motors, with the 23 being a good all around choice for a small block.
