Pull your heads and carb and send them to midwest supercub. Then gut your exhaust. U would be looking at about $400.

Put all the money you would spend modding that motor in a jar and when you get enough, sell that one and buy a big block surface drive. Been there, done that, got the t shirt... It ain't worth the time. |

Agree with J. I sent mine to Midwest for valves and head work. Decked .030", valve work and their think copper head gasket increased compressor to 190 psi. Significantincrease in torque. $ well spent. I also gutted exhaust and jetted carb myself. Definitely made an improvement. Your only problem will be upgrading from stock carb. Aftermarket carbs aren't able to be governed without some serious work and there are no rev limiters available for the kohlers. |
