Hey guys I got a new muffler on my 31 hp GDLT and since putting it on my motor just does not seem to be running right or at least something is different. my tac quit on me and have not put the new one on yet so i don't know what my rps are. With my self, a little fishing gear, and another guy my hole jump was awful. I could tell i was not getting the speed i should have been. Talked to a buddy of mine and he said he thinks its the new muffler. Its just a standard briggs q muffler. He said I should prob have it gutted. What do yall think? What is the risk of getting it gutted? o and i also just changed the oil and plugs (plugs were fine but changed anyway).
