 GDLT?
I can't swivel my gd for trailering it just barely hits on the corners of my boat. Does anybody have a solution or am I stuck trailering it this way?

Another thing you may want to consider; I have driven 3 different rigs with motors that would swivel 180 for trailering. Every one of them ran kind of awkwardly in the water, it also noticeably affected performance. It changes the angle of the dangle, and with these longtails that is a make or break type deal. That being said, if your trying to make it fit in a garage then by all means, get the swivel bracket. It's not like it kills the performance, but in my opinion when compared to my gdlt that I have put over 1600 hrs on, the swivel bracket did hinder the overall performance.

Shim it. I personally know of a weldbuilt that has a go devil mounted to the jack plate that does well.
