 prop size
I just got a used mud buddy 24hp long tail. It needs a prop. It looks like a 9x6 is recommend. The one I took off look like it says 8-1/2 x 7. Do ypu think the 9x6 is the way to go?

9x6 should be right.
It's what we ran on ours on a 1546

9x6 or 9x5 depending on the load you typically carry.
