Post kohler efi governor spring
Just got a new kohler efi 26.5 backwater ss. I have a tach on order so I do not yet know what rpm's I am running. Will do 19 solo on a 16/44 gatortrax with 9x7 prop. Anyone know if stronger gov springs are available for the kohler efi? Now running a gov soring with a red dot on it. Probably looking to goose up the rpm's a little.

Correction. Current governor spring is orange not red .

Good question on the EFI. It is totally new to me, wish I knew how to tweak the setting if that is possible. 19 mph is pretty good on that GT 1644, thinking that is a fairly heavy hull. I run a 9x6 prop on my 27 Kohler- that might get you more rpms and maybe 1 mph more.
