 Propane powered motor
Was driving through my work parking lot and looked over in our recycle bin and say a generator that my company threw in there. It had a 7hp motor on it ( generator itself didn't work, motor had good compression) . Turns out it's a propane powered motor, and I may sound totally stupid asking this but has anyone ever mad a lt with a propane motor? I was going to take the generator just to hold onto the motor but I didn't know if I was just going to be adding junk to the shed or if it would be useful

 Re: Propane powered motor
I would say you could get a carb for it and run it off of gas.
What kind of motor is is?

 Re: Propane powered motor
Years ago Briggs and Stratton made a conversion kit to change from gas to propane. Im not sure if it was a complete carb or just special jets designed for propane.

 Re: Propane powered motor
The Subaru eh90 and 99 have lp setups for them for generator usage. Uses a higher compression piston and few other parts.

 Re: Propane powered motor
My cousins is considering a 35hp for his lt and running it off of propane to avoid ethanol. I see mowers all over the place using them.

 Re: Propane powered motor
Genie lift equipment can run off of propane or unleaded. There's no switching stuff out so maybe you could get lucky and not have to change anything with that motor. That'd be great if they all worked that way
Pretty sure most of MMT is humusexshuls in hiding
