Shaft collar is usually just 1 size. Is This what you are referring to?

Buy a 1" x 1" coupling and then put a bushing in on the 3/4" side for your shaft to make it 3/4". I did that one my motor 3 years ago and haven't had a single issue. I took a dremel and cut a notch in it for the key to slide in.

If you think a 1" x 3/4" coupling is high price a 1" x 1 1/8" coupling. It was a whole lot cheaper for me to buy a 1 1/8 x 1 1/8 coupling and do the above with a bushing than paying for an odd size coupling.

I would stay away from the 3 piece couplings with the plastic spider.

My straight shaft is a 25 hp. What size motor are you using?
