 Backwater 35 Hello All,
I have a backwater 35 on a 1652 all welded Lowe boat. This is my first mudmotor setup and I have little experience or knowledge on the topic. I took it out the other night and with me and a buddy I was getting 16-17mph. What can I do to increase this top end speed. Is it the angle of the cavitation plate, do I need a different prop, also the boat has a tunnel hull would filling this in increase the performance?

Re: Backwater 35 Yeah getting that tunnel covered would be my first move.
I wouldn't mess with anything else until you had that fixed. Just having someone weld a plate over the the bottom of it would suffice

Re: Backwater 35 I'd sell that boat to someone who wants a tunnel hull and then buy a new flat bottom boat.
