Post Beavertail 35HP longtail
Please let me know your thoughts on a Beavertail 35hp Longtail. I've never used one before and have a chance to pickup a brand new one at a steal. it will go on a Lowe 16x48" or a War Eagle 1754.

thanks

BW is a great product! Are those two hulls short or tall transoms? I am assuming that 35BW is the 71" drive with the regular clamp on transom mount? Test drive would be advisable unless you have driven a similar HP longtail before. BW customer service could give you some good advice on setup.

If your paying brand new price, why not grab a Backwater?

Also, what are you trying to do with this rig?
Do you haul a lot of weight in the boat?
Is speed a concern for you?
What type of terrain do you use the boat in?

I’d be able to get for no more than 2k. And it’s brand new.

Maybe 3 people, dog, gear. Speed is not concern usually short runs less than a mile. No “mid@ but heavy vegetation cover.

I finally mounted the 35hp Beavertail Longtail and gave it a try.
This was my first time to ever see one, literall , must less drive one. After i got the hang of it and properly adjusted the trim, o enjoyed it. Has great power and pushed right through thick grass , cattail clumps etc.

Thumbs up!
