Moose and Caribou 2018
My 35 Swamprunner brings home the winter's meat again! We hauled too much gear and a snowmachine up river for a friend on our way to hunt, using a borrowed 24x48 MonArk. Burned around 40 gallons of gas running just under 300 river miles, including travel and hunting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQorXHQGZ4E

Great video! Those were some impressive boat loads. I love seeing the family working together to get that meat processed. I am still trying to get my kids more interested in helping dad process. LOL
Too bad the kid has that block M on. I might have an extra MSU one I can send out . JK

Re: Moose and Caribou 2018
Thanks guys! We got family in Michigan, they get us apparel. I don’t duck hunt as much as I’d like, mostly I take pot shots at them when I’m beaver trapping.

Great video! How did you get the sled in and out of the boat?

Re: Moose and Caribou 2018
Thanks!
To get it to the ramp we put it on the boat trailer, backed the trailer up to the boat, and then just slid it in the boat. To get it out, we picked it up and pulled it out in stages; the front was on the seat, so we slid the front to the gunnel, then onto the gunnel, and slid the middle on the seat, then the front over the gunnel, then dragged/lifted the rest of it over the gunnell on top of the seat so as to avoid torqueing the side of the boat too much. That's a very light snowmachine comparatively, one person could have done it if they had to.
