One of the best investments I have made in my small boat Fleet was a longtail mud motor. I can get places that most people can not. The Kit cost me 295 and lots of people put Predator engines on them for around 200 but those are junk motors imho . A better option is to look for a used Honda GX motor and usually you can get them from 50-75 bucks. they run 350-450 new.
