 Mud buddy lower seal housing
Hello, does anyone know how the lower seal housing is held onto drive shaft tube? The model is a year 2000. Thanks

Re: Mud buddy lower seal housing
The housing is part of the tube. Should just be a cap on the end with 2 flat sides that's reverse threaded (righty loosey lefty tighty) to put a big crescent wrench on and unscrew it. The seals are in the cap.

The bearing housing is pressed onto the drive tube. The seal cap is reverse threaded into the bearing housing.

Re: Mud buddy lower seal housing
I appreciate the info. Do you know how much clearance there should be between the housing cap and the nut that is closest to it?
