Post subject:  2011 SETX Mud Run
Alright guys we will be having our 2nd annual SETX Mud Run on February 26th so yall mark your calendars and come over and ride. We will meet at Daley's Hunt and Fish at 9:00 am where we will have some stuff to give away and you can check out Keith's new shop.

We will meet at Port Neches park at 10:00 am to launch and go from there. For all of those who will be sticking around after the ride and the local people you are invited to my house after the ride for some more drinking and food. Here is a link for directions to the boat ramp and you can get with me the day of the ride for directions to my house (10 min from the boat ramp).

We will get some more details as the ride gets closer. We are going to try to get some shirts made and once we get that together I will put up a thread to place your order.

I recommend that out of town guest try to book a room at the La Quinta Inn, Bridge City, Tx. You can get it for $69 a night on Hotels.com.

I would recommend the La Quinta in Bridge City, Tx $69 a night on Hotels.com
for all of the out of town guests. It is a newly built hotel in a safe area and only about 10-15 minutes from the boat ramp.

I need some details....

Is there a ride map? Need to verify we will not be within any WMA during the ride so I can confirm if I can make it or not.

Will NOT be on the WMA, although there is one nearby. As long as ya stay with the group, you'll be fine. Won't be the only airboat there, though probly will be the smallest.

yep.... smallest and most fuel efficient... got to get some hours on it as may be swapping engines to something with a lot more power later this year

Well i think I will make it (unless something ties me up due to the new job).... still looking for a little more power out of the Generac but I heard through the grapevine that some changes are being tested...
